Support for IPv6
TotalView 8.4 and MemoryScape 2.2 introduce support for sites and clusters with IPv6 or networks with both IPv4 and IPv6 running simultaneously.
Scalability Improvements
TotalView 8.4 includes internal changes that provide significant performance improvements. These performance improvements are a result of a detailed study of TotalView performance on a large x86-64 linux cluster.
Lightweight Memory Core File Debugging
Both TotalView 8.4 and MemoryScape 2.2 can be used with lightweight memory core files generated by the HIA. This new feature enables memory debugging of very large scale parallel applications.
JNI Debugging
The new Eclipse Java IDE JNI Bridge Plugin, used with TotalView 8.4, lets developers troubleshoot errors in Java applications that make use of the JNI mechanism to call native C/C++ functions.

AcedemiaTotalView Technologies recently previewed reverse debugging capabilities for its award-winning multi-core debugging product line, which will allow developers to "back up" during a debugging session to help identify a bug as it is happening and eliminate the need to run a program multiple times.

TotalView Introduces Workbench Manager 1.1
AcedemiaDevelopers can now view, manage, and launch any version of the TotalView and MemoryScape debuggers installed on their system, as well as any third party application used for development and debugging, all from a single dashboard-like Graphical User Interface.
