Windows Architect

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop the software architecture needed to support a multiprocess, multithreaded, parallel source code debugger on the MS Windows HPC Server 2008 Platform
  • Develop and communicate strategies, standards, policies, and best practices for developing software tools on MS Windows based systems
  • Participate in technology evaluations as needed
  • Conduct technology research and development related to porting a Unix-based multiprocess, multithreaded, parallel source code debugger to the MS Windows Platform

Hiring Criteria:

  • 10+ years of experience in: MS Windows infrastructure architecture and software development tools and environments (e.g. Compilers, Source Code Debuggers, UNIX/Windows scripting languages, etc.)
  • Bachelor’s or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering
  • Experience porting Unix-based software to MS Windows
  • Thorough understanding of MS Server Reference Architectures
  • Strong knowledge of MS software development tools
  • Strong knowledge of the internal design and operations of software development tools and environments (e.g. Debuggers, Compilers, .NET framework, UNIX/Windows scripting languages)
  • Thorough understanding of technology trends and technical developments
  • Demonstrated ability to prepare and lead presentations to all levels within the company in order to educate, influence, and contribute to architectural decisions
  • Detail-oriented work style with excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Solid leadership abilities
